The Chinese Teacher
I think my Chinese teacher needs anger management. She was on a detention-giving spree today where she gave people detention for vague crimes like ‘looking weird’ or ‘being bad’. If ‘looking weird’ or ‘being bad’ were crimes, we’d all get arrested. I mean, isn’t that what they invented the law for? To stop corrupted law enforcers from making biased judgments? I don’t think my Chinese teacher knows that because apparently, she’s still living in Imperial China where they beat people with sticks to make them confess for crimes they’ve never done.The first detention was given to this guy who the Chinese teacher just hates for no reason. He was kind of moving his mouth so the Chinese teacher was like “WHY ARE YOU MURMURING?” and he was like, “Uh I wasn’t murmuring?”. Then she’s like “WHY ARE YOU BEING BAD? SIT OUTSIDE!”. So the guy starts packing up his stuff and putting them in his bag when she catches him putting something in his pocket so she’s like “WHAT DID YOU PUT IN YOUR POCKET?” and he’s like nothing. So she storms up to him, feels up his butt (this should count for sexual harassment) and pulls out an iPhone from his pocket. She’s really pissed at this point and starts barking, “WHY DID YOU LIE?!?!?!? FRIDAY DETENTION FOR LYING!”
Then after a few minutes of what seemed like peace, the Chinese teacher thinks that the two boys sitting in the front row are talking to each other. So she tells one of them off for provoking the other guy and sends him outside. But in reality, he wasn’t the one that was talking, it was someone else. The someone else felt bad for that guy being punished for something he did so he told the teacher that it was him who did the talking. And the Chinese teacher seemed really unsatisfied with this and started screaming, “WHY ARE YOU TELLING THE TRUTH? DO YOU THINK YOU ARE BEING BRAVE?” and the guy’s like, “I was just trying to be honest…” but before he could finish the Chinese teacher goes, “FRIDAY DETENTION FOR BEING HONEST!”

Wtf? Is that teacher on CRACK or something?! God, I’d hate that teacher too. I really don’t like it when teachers make judgments about their kids. I mean, they should be reported for this or something. And hitting that guy on the butt? xD Yess, it should be sexual harassment.
So she gives detention for students who lie AND tell the truth? xD I’m still laughing at the “DO YOU THINK YOU ARE BEING BRAVE?” part, lol. She must be a really tough teacher o_O. I’m so glad none of my teachers are being like that.

Yeah I guess, she’s starting to complain about it now xD Apparently we put the oxygen mask with too much force or something. Sleep apnea apparently is a common condition or something like that, but like nobody who’s commented so far has heard of it :P.

Your Chinese teacher is retarded, no offense. Who does that?! Give detention for something as little as that. How come no one reported her to the principal or the school board or someone? If enough people do that, I think maybe she can change somewhat? I don’t know. Maybe she was just PMS-ing. :S Hahahas, but I do feel bad for you guys who haven’t done anything wrong and received detention!

I’ve always wanted to go to Disneyland in Hong Kong. I think it was closed when I last visited Hong Kong. I’ve actually never been to Ocean Park, but I have heard of it. I only went to Hong Kong for shopping and visiting family there. Lame, but there are a lot of cheap and cute stuff to buy in Hong Kong!!
I used to attend University in SoCal, but I moved back home (NorCal) earlier this year because of some family problems.

I think you mean accelerator! That moves the car forward. ;) I have actually driven about 39 hours but I need 50. However since my licence expires soon, I will have to renew, which means I will have to do a goal of 129 hours - since the rule has changed.
I have been with my boyfriend for quite a few years and we were friends
beforehand so I think it’s definitely safe to say that I love him.
Some teachers can be ridiculously strict. Your post showed me the extreme! Some teachers just take it too far. They get too personal, let thing get to then and other things like taking out anger on others. Feeling that kid would definitely be harassment!
I never had teachers that bad. One teacher didn’t let me go to the toilet in class, despite how much I was suffering.
Some of them are so odd. Sometimes they’re like parents o___O

Really?! I’m glad I’m not going to take chinese next year then, I’m taking Japanese ;) and hopefully she’ll be nice. I did have a chinese teacher once (I aced all the tests and my brother failed all of them…) and she was pretty nice. She wasn’t at the school though, she was at my church.

I think if you just tried to change the color a bit it’d stand out a bit more. It’s kind of straining actually ahha but I’m trying not to stare at your footer.

I feel like telling you this is going to sound like I’m being facetious or something because it’s..like obvious. But anywayy since you really genuinely don’t seem to understand how programs work here…
No, California’s programs are not more ahead of time than NY’s. NY is 3 hours ahead of California so all of their shows are 3 hours ahead of us. It’s summer & that’s when most shows end. So, obviously there won’t be any brand new episodes on TV. Every single station has a specific schedule. You could actually look it up online if you wanted to or you could just check the TV guide. In the mornings, there aren’t any shows other than soap operas or random shows on Nickelodeon or Disney channel because that’s when people are at work. Shows start at around 8 or 9 (that are good) because that’s after people come home from work, school, & are finished with dinner. Makes sense right? So shows like House won’t be airing new episodes because there aren’t any! The season finale was like weeks ago & if anything, they’d be repeating episodes just to fill in time. No state is behind as all of the shows are on regular & cable TV. They’re aired on time & reruns are played when they need to take up time/promote the show/keep people interested in the show/getting you amped up for the season finale/keep you interested post season finale. I hope this makes sense.
AHAHAHA YOUR chinese teacher has issues…like serious serious issues. She needs to be rehabilitated or something. What a wench! I think she’s massively PMSing or is going through some seriously bad events…because that’s just ridiculous. I mean…why the sudden change?
Haha you better stay away from Nip/Tuck if you’re squeamish. I want to be a doctor one day so that stuff doesn’t really phase me that much but in Nip/Tuck, they perform plastic surgery & it looks 100% real. It’s intense! But anyway the season finale of House had him cutting off this girl’s foot because it was stuck under like..a building..& oh man that is painful to watch…I couldn’t do it. I wouldn’t be able to cut off someone’s limb. But that’s why I want to be a dermatologist & not a surgeon! haha.
I can’t believe you didn’t try the hot dogs in NYC!! They’re only $2 & they’re sooo absolutely delicious. The chicken & rice is amazing too. omg I miss NYC. I went once when I was like really young & my mom thought the food carts were dirty so she never got us any food but one day she was super hungry & just bought some. Then we found out how effin’ amazing it was. We went last year but I really want to go back. I’m hoping that I can go this summer..hopefully with my boyfriend! I love NYC! omg I love the frozen custard. I had like a tiny sample at the Shake Shack & I almost died. I wanted to get more but I had already ordered an $8 burger. haha. You’re lucky your experience in NYC was filled with nice people.
I’ve only met like jerks in NYC. I did see some famous people though..for the filming of Law & Order. Or was it..CSI. I can’t remember. hahaa whichever show has Ice T. But anyway the SOTM contest is back up. Sorry about that. I don’t know why it said it wasn’t working. sigh. But at least you were the first to sign up. Yay.

Try bringing your chinese teacher something nice or giving her a compliment & see if she’ll yell at you or will be nice to you. Sometimes we just need a hug to ctfd. (calm the eff down).

Your Chinese teacher needs to sort herself out! She must have been on PMS or something or something outside of class upset her. How could she give detentions for silly things like that, especially giving detention for being honest! How can being honest be a bad thing!?
I really dislike teachers that think they can do whatever they want before they’re teachers and they’re upset about something. They need to teach teachers to learn to leave personal life away from work and don’t bring it out on students.

I really hate when teachers act that way. I wish they would just give writing assignments or something when they’re having a bad day. That way they can’t take their anger out on random people for doing absolutely nothing. Hopefully she doesn’t continue being nuts.

Oh my gosh! First off, i just want to let you know how amazing you are to be able to deal with that. I’d be scared to even come near your teacher, that’s insane. Is he/she normally that bad? I had a teacher like that, she even gave the finger to a couple students but she was fired this year (it was ironically my Spanish teacher).

LOL @ You Chinse teacher. I have a teacher like that in my school ‘cept he’s English and just LIVES to tell people off. Honestly, like the smallest things you do - like entering through the wrong door, he’ll chase you down until her catches you! He’s chased people to their BUSTOPS… into the toilets (the toilet thing only boys), to their classes, he’s CRAZY.
Man you teacher does sound crazy. If that happened over here they would probably get sued, teachers are really cautious about things like that, they never everrr touch you.
I’d probably get pretty pissed off if I knew your Chinese teacher :S Some teachers are just SO annoying and rude it drives me crazy.
