Overdue
I have finally finished this whole thing. Converted all pages to Wordpress, created a new layout, re-designed the site and added new content. This layout was extremely hard to complete, due to compatibility issues. I’ve just tested it with IE 7+8, Firefox and Safari. If anything is out of whack, then tell me and I’ll go beat up Bill Gates.You’ll notice that the graphics section includes 2 new items, the graphic overlays and glitter text generator. The resource section now has icon bases and a few photography stocks from my trip to Tokyo, I took pictures of a some random dirty cement walls in the museum.
So I went to watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince today. To sum it all up, the movie spent half of the movie talking about raging teenage hormones and getting all teary eyed over you-know-who snogging you-know-who. It’s like Gossip Girl all over again. Plus I was sitting next to a bunch of girls who kept screaming stuff like “OHMYGAWD NU WAI. OH NO HE DIDN’T.” And laughing in hysterics at things like Ron saying “Did you do it with Ginny?” or “Let’s get another room, this room appears to be occupied.” I was going to be all “OMG Voldemort just stuck his wand up his nose cuz he’s got no q-tips, hahahhaaaa.”
I just came back from Japan last week. It mainly consisted of me being stung by a bee up a sauna mountain, which made me cry and run all over the place because I thought I was going to die, the locals were looking at me and whispering to each other in Japanese and considering whether I was a threat to their society. I seriously thought I was going to die because I was never stung by a bee before. I thought that they were like the deadly kind of poisonous. I was literally jumping around holding my hand. The bee stung me twice on both of my fingers. I watched the Bee Movie before and the dude in there did not end up so hot, so I was like “AM I GONNA DIE?!?!? NO IM GONNA DIE. TAKE ME TO THE HOSPITAL. I DONT CARE IF YOU DUNNO HOW TO SAY BEE IN JAPANESE. CALL 911 AND DRAW A PICTURE OF A BALL WITH STRIPES AND WINGS FOR GOODNESS SAKE.” I think my dad thought that I was faking because I’m always screaming when I see flying things, he just went “I bet it’s a mosquito.” Which made me even more freaked out at being in the presence of such insolence when I was clearly suffering from post traumatic shock.
What happened with the bee incident is, I was holding one of those strawberry candy wrappers which is pink in colour. I presume the bee thought that it was a flower or some sort. Then I felt this sharp prick in the hand that I was holding the wrapper. At that moment I thought, why the heck is this candy wrapper so sharp? What’s wrong with manufacturers these days, jeez. So I open my hand and this huge black thing buzzes out and stares at my face. Seeing it’s me, it decides to sting another one of my fingers! There’s a lesson here, folks. If you’ve got pink hair, cover it up.
Oh wow Rainie! So glad you’re back and i envy you you were able to convert all pages to wp and new layout and it looks perfect from safari, the main browser i use. dang!
i know, shame on me for all the HP fans out there..
but i think the most freakiest part is when you open your hand and notice a ball of yellow/black stripped insect right in front of your face. haha but don’t worry, you it’s harmless unless you’re allergic to bees… which in that case… death is a possibility o_o… hope that makes you feel better :]
my friend went to the theater at midnight to watch HP and he said it was really good… lol but i have never been a HP fan before so i don’t think i’m going to see it
you went to japan?! lucky i’ve wanted to go visit there for a while now and i’m really sorry to hear about the bee sting lol. I guess i kind of gotten used to the stinging part because i’ve been stung ever since i was 4 years old

Coding a layout is already pretty challenging, but converting ALL pages? NU WAI 
Don’t go beat up Bill Gates, it looks flawless in Safari. Plus, I don’t want the geeks and losers to lose their “look-up to” man, because then they’ll go and focus on girls and whatnot.
The new content looks great, I think the Overlay idea is really original. I know this is a sort-of random question, but what do you use to make all your glitters have such a great glassy effect? I’ve been spending forever trying to know how.
Anyways, the HP thing was funny. I would love to have some people in the movie theater that is anything but mute and dead-like. I’ve had a crazy laugher, but that was all. LOL Those girls ahahhaha. Did they say it in English or Cantonese? That would be even funnier
I’ve always wanted to go to Japan, but my mom prefers North America and Europe. I just love Japanese food (minus the dolphins and raw fish) and everything ancient and the culture about the place… I don’t like the modern lolita, though. xP ARGH. I absolutely HATE insects. I refuse to let them even touch me, let alone prick me and cause post-traumatic stress. I’m deathly afraid of them… I always get the huge bees at school camp and they terrify me, buzzing around me ear. *shiver* I would’ve been twice as hysterical as you were hahahahah.

OMFG…..this new layout is awesome!!!! I love it. I think you worked a lot, because it looks great. congrats on converting your pages in wordpress. It’s better believe me, but remember to make back-ups to pages, because bad things can happen and you don’;t wanna loss them all, right? ^^

And I totally agree. You can’t write as free as you could before something like this happens.. you are kind of “limited”; which sucks, because you shouldn’t be limited with what you write about in your blog posts..

I didn’t quite enjoy the movie too but I have expected it so I wasn’t disappointed much. The whole movie focuses on their lovey-dovey. I wanna watch real action, fighting with magics and etc. Too bad they cant do it at movie, I’ll just read it again, I think.

Yeah, I was disappointed with this Harry Potter movie. There wasn’t enough action/suspension stuff for me. But I guess it’s because I didn’t read the books? and that I kind of based it off the other movies? I don’t know. For me it just wasn’t a ‘normal’ Harry Potter movie. xD And the ending was disappointing. How can he kill him!? Oh my goodness!

Ah well the good thing is that you survived! LOL But that’s a funny story indeed. Haha I have never been stung by a bee but my boyfriend Justin was LOL I think last summer, he was getting ready to give me a ride home and he got into the car and he got a prick and he jumped at once and saw this bee fly out of the car LOL Oh what a dramatic moment, but he too lived ;) =P

Good job getting things switched over to wordpress and whatnot. That was a pain when I did it and I didn’t even have lots of things, haha.

Your new theme is absolutely awesome! All of your themes are though. I converted my pages to WP when I moved to this site as well. So much easier to manage, hehe.
