My Grandmother is Smart
My Grandma came over this afternoon and we hung out. She’s like 80 years old and my only remaining grandparent. I played Tap Tap Revenge with her on the iPod, then the two of us played Guitar Hero on the Wii. Rock on, Grandma.The reason why she’s the smartest old person ever is because she knows the world. I was like “Do you know who Michael Jackson is?” then she goes “Yes, the singer, right?” Take that, everyone elses grandmothers. You can’t deny those words of wisdom.
Then my mom invites my aunt to dinner, and she interrupts me watching television by talking at max. volume about who knows what. Then she forces me to eat raw pork and says that it’s good for me because I’m so skinny. A minute later, my bowl is filled with vegetables, pork and left-over chicken.
Regarding updates, I have 3 new affiliates: Atomic Affliction, Randomiss Designs and Pastel Smash. I’ve added a few icon bases and a tutorial on Colour Isolation. I’ve been thinking about better organizing the Photoshop tutorials by putting them in different tabbed categories. I will be doing one of ‘pixel perfect’ text such as the ones seen on the OS X and what I’ve done with the text for the ‘Glitter Generator’ title.
I have also joined ‘Twitter’ where I’m now twitting, tweeting or tweetering updates about my nonexistent life and site-wise information. If you want to read about my every-day failures micro style, then follow me.
I’m experimenting with baking right now. My mom thinks this is the bad idea because the last time I went into the kitchen I set the kitchen cloth on fire. That wasn’t really my fault. I didn’t know that fabrics were that flammable. At least my cape didn’t get stuck in some wormhole like in Batman, jeez. What do you expect from me, woman.

your colour isolation tutorial is very helpful! i’ve been trying to get that effect for ages. i couldnt find a good tutorial on it cuz the rest were so complicated but yours is easy to follow. im so bad at using photoshop, hahaha
your grandma sounds so cool. mine just sits around in front of the television eating tapioca and telling me off for talking on the phone and stuff like that.. she actually lives with me and it gets soo annoying sometimes because she’s so bitter.

your grandma has an ipod?! and she knows how to work it? my grandma has one and doesn’t know how to work it. and she can’t charge it neither because she doesn’t have a wall plug. she always annoys me to charge it and stuff. :\ but nevertheless your grandma sounds HELLA cool!

My grandma just talks about her history and shopping, and my grandmother talks about what my dad does when he was small and gossip about other wrinkly ladies. I don’t think either of them even knows how to work tap tap revenge or Guitar Hero! You’re so lucky.
Chinese relatives are weird. Almost all of my relatives are kind of quirky, except for the ones who understands English because they act the most normal of the bunch. I would hate to eat raw pork. Now I’m actually happy that I’m not skinny. I hate eating raw meat.. BLEH.
Haha, my mom only trusts me with waffles, scrambled eggs, and washing food. Everytime I want to bake something, it’s a no. Baking is like an annual event. Why can’t I bake on my own free will?!

Your grandma sounds cool. Though I would expect ALL grandmothers to know who Michael Jackson is because he is quite old too, they grew up listening to him, or at least were fairly young when he was famous. But playing guitar hero? That’s just awesome. My grandmother just reads or do cross word puzzles. She works too.
